2008/2009 Season

Highly succesful bass fishing couple, Brian & Debbie Carnahan, are native born Arizonans, competing in National and Regional events. Plans for 08/09 include Brian fishing as a Pro in the FLW National Guard Series while Debbie fishes as a co-angler in the same circuit, with the accompanying national exposure and ALSO as a Team in Arizona Team Bass fishing circuits.

 

Brian has competed in the FLW Tour, FLW Series and the FLW Stren Series. Debbie has competed in the FLW National Guard Series. We have competed in tournaments in California, Nevada, Washington, Alabama, Florida and of course, Arizona. Brian qualified for the Stren national championship in Mobile, Alabama. Brian and Debbie fish together as TeamCarnahan in Arizona Monterey Bass team fishing circuits and finished the circuit this year in 3rd place overall and WON the tournament at Roosevelt Lake in April 2008, for the 2nd time! Brian and Debbie are two-time winners of MBC SuperTeams tournaments, something done by only 2 other teams- EVER!

 

Brian and Debbie are both involved in the United Arizona Anglers Foundation, which Brian was instrumental in starting, and Brian is a Board member of that Charitable organization dedicated to the enhancement of warmwater fishing in Arizona, responsible for the stocking of hundreds of thousands of bass in Arizona lakes. Brian is also the only super-moderator of the very popular ArizonaBassFishing.com website, and was instrumental in its creation.

MORE- Brian and Debbie have been married for over 30 years. Brian is age 51 and Debbie is age... uh, younger than Brian :-) .

We both work at Northern Arizona University, in different areas of the I.T. department. Debbie is a computer operations manager and Brian is a Senior desktop PC support specialist. Brian is also retired from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office after 20+ years of service and retired as a Lieutenant, from the Special Investigations division. We have one Daughter, Heather, who just graduated from Northern Arizona University with her bachelors degree in Anthropology. Both Debbie and Brian are eligible for retirement at any time, and fully prepared to embark on our next career in full-time tournament fishing and product support, once a sponsorship presents itself.
